(Our man in Japan – Nakazoto – is always coming across awesome cars, but not exactly what you might expect. As he gets the time, Nakazoto will be sharing some of the treasures he finds. Today Nakazoto-san introduces us to Renga and a special lady. – Brian)

Renga is a collaborative form of Japanese poetry.  Each verse alternates from 5-7-5 syllables to 7-7 syllables and back again.

Here you sit all sad
All alone and forgotten
But fret not my dear

I will always remember
That wonderful day in Jun

Under that bonnet
I saw amazing power
An FJ turbo!

Someday someone will find you
The Z will breathe fire again

Let’s keep the poem going in the comments!  First comment in 5-7-5, second in 7-7, third in 5-7-5 and so on!
