2 Reasons Why You Want to Make International Gearhead Connections
It doesn’t matter what you drive, how you drive it, or where you drive it – there are 7Bn people on this planet and that means that, if you’re one-in-a-million, there are 7,000 people just like you. Since we launched this project, we’ve gotten to know gearheads all over the world. It’s truly incredible. Here’s 2 big reasons why you want to make international gearhead connections.
Rotterdam RX-7 Type R is Damn
The FD3S RX-7. To spot one on the streets these days is a rare treat. If you’re lucky, you might see the odd FD in traffic on a major street through town; an older gentleman behind the wheel, simply enjoying the rich rewards of proper vehicle maintenance practice. If you’re really lucky, however, you come across someone like Kenji taking their FD for a spin, because, damn.
Justin Removed the Rice & Doubled the Horsepower
For me Justin’s Civic is one of the nicest in the Netherlands and he really deserved this interview. He’s installed a lot of rare parts and doubled the horsepower by swapping the original 1.5L engine for a Japanese TYPE-R engine. This is an interview with a really passionate owner of a beautiful ’93 Civic.
Importing a Japanese Classic Car to the Netherlands; Part Two

How strict will they be when it comes to importing a nearly 40 years old Toyota? What will it cost? How much time will it take to get everything sorted out and receive my papers? Let´s find out!
Dick’s Honda Civic and Beat
I think you can call Dick and his wife Jinske real Honda lovers. A collection with four (really beautiful) Hondas proves it. I thought two of them, a Honda Civic Motul replica and a very rare Honda Beat, are really interesting. So I found Dick and this is the result. A nice interview about two really beautiful Hondas!

Did you ever wonder how difficult it would be to drive and import oldtimer/classic cars in other parts of the world? This will be a series of articles on searching, buying and importing a (Japanese) classic to the Netherlands. Will it be harder, or easier than in the US; or other parts of the world? How expensive will it be? What are the rules and laws? Here’s the first part: finding the car worth all the trouble.
Lars’ Nissan Silvia S15
A few months ago, I was chilling on my balcony (road-view) with my girlfriend. Suddenly I heard a ridiculous sound and I saw a white F16 flying over the main road. After I few seconds I remembered that white F16s don’t exist. That was my first introduction to Lars’ Nissan Silvia S15.
Cruise In, Netherlands
There are so many meetings during the summer time, you could visit one every day if you wanted to. How do you decide which one to go to? How do you know it’s worth a two hour drive? Well, you look into the history of that meeting. We did this as well, and found one meeting being held every Thursday from May till October and has been around for almost eight years. Every week there are at least 50 cars. Even on rainy Thursdays. What makes this meeting so special? Why do people from Belgium, Germany and even Luxembourg come to the Netherlands to visit this meeting on Thursday evenings? Let’s find out!
